No. They Usually Drop It For Contracts. If You Want A Contract Then Your Set. It Will Go Down Without Contract After Like 3 Years.

Question by Brooklyn: New Yorkers Help! NYC hotels and ideas for new years 2011?
I’m from NC.. never been to NYC before and my friend and I are planning to go for new years. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to stay that are within walking distance/short cab rides to fun places in the city for new years? I’m all new to this, and we’d like to stay in a low price range (not cheapest but just not ridiculously expensive) Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks!

My friend, that going to problematic. The reason, a lot of hotel rooms will start at about $ 150 to $ 200 a night and go up from there. It can get evening worst during the Christmas holiday. If you’re looking for something cheaper, consider staying in either Jersey City, NJ or Long Island City, Queens and take the subway or the PATH train into the city
