hi, i’m 22 years old and want to get my g1 license. how much will it cost including all tests and the driving instructor? is there a certain amount of hours i have to drive for with the intstructor before i get my g1? how long do i have to wait until i get my g2 afterwards and how much does that cost? thanks in advance.

For you to get you G1, you just need to go and take the written test and an eye test. If you pass both you then have your G1 and I believe the cost is $ 100 and that includes you G2 road test. For you to be able to take the test for your G2 you have to wait 8-12 months. For you to be able to take the test in 8 months you must take an approved driving course, 12 months without a course. Then you must have your G2 for 1 year before you can take the road test for you full G license, and it costs $ 30. Just be aware that the testing side of the ministry are still on strike so you are not able to take written tests or road test right now.
