Animation: From Analogue to Digital
Sunday, September 6th, 2009Animation movies have been entertaining us since our childhood. Well, you must remember the Donald Duck or Abbot and Costello. Animation brings comic in to life. It brings characters we read on comic books in to TV and cinema.
Animation is a work of art. Every series and movies need lots of artist who draws the scenes and bring it to live. Through the days, the digital technology changes the meaning of animation. With computer graphic technology, animation becomes more smooth and close to reality. It would be very rare to find animation movie production without computer graphic technology. It can’t be denied that computer graphic animation could please us with so many special effects.
But digital technology doesn’t make the old school animation to extinct. There are some studios still loyal on analogue technology and as a matter a fact, lots people still love it. Whether it is analogue or digital, animation is work of art and need lots of effort to produce it. From TV series to cinema movies, animation is great entertainment. And one thing for sure, animation is not only entertainment for kids. It is for all age. Or maybe no one of us ever grows up and remains kids in our soul.
