Question by : Is it bad for my speakers or my amplifier to provide more than needed power to my speakers?
If I have 2 front and 2 rear speakers that put out 100 RMS and 200 peak each speaker if I provide those speakers with 125 RMS and 250 peak power per a speaker is it bad for either the amplifier or the speakers? I heard somewhere and I can’t remember where that it’s actully better for the sound quality of the speaker and doesn’t ruin it, is this true?

its better if its over simpy because u can always adjust ur gains on ur amp unlike if ur amp was under it would already at its max!
